Surely there's bigger issues after the first round or are people genuinely that pathetic?

I thought West Coast coffed up the ball going forward a fair bit but I also thought they got the arse end of the umpiring decisions, at crucial times too, the Le Cras non goal ended up being a two goal play right at a time when they had momentum.

He certainly did, not sure what's to be gained from it at that stage.

The Le cras free was there.

Buddy and Parker were exceptional

Would've been "touched" if his hands were on the ball.

Buddy threw it near the end and got away with it, he also had a fair grip on his opponents guernsey when he kicked his 8th, they got a free ride, I wouldn't expect you to agree as I'm a neutral observer.

Buddy and Parker were instrumental though, Nic Nat needed to be on the field more, even if it was up forward as they really had no one to kick to.

Seeing as Merrett went off with concussion I’d be surprised if it’s overturned

Is there any footage that actually clearly shows Douglas making contact with Merrett's head?

I think the slo mo from the outer side shows there's contact to the head, but having said that there's also contact to the shoulder and ribs at the same time.

Christian certainly takes into account what you were doing in the contest, as soon as you choose to bump instead of going the ball ( or runaway ) you're in trouble if you get them high.

Waste of time and money. The only reason I see us (and Port with Gray) appealing is there is a secret pact amongst AFL clubs to appeal every bump ban this year and wear the fine to prove a point to the AFL.
