Thought one of your young kids at full back was pretty good. But other than him and maybe tuhoy your defence looks horrid and Your forward line doesn’t have enough spread

Tom Stewart busted his guts out all day. We'd be even more screwed if we didn't have him down back.

We have no talls. Take out your four best and most experienced defenders, drop your ruckman and see how your defence goes. They are on a hiding to nothing, the least they could do is play a bloody ruckman if only to give them something to kick to trying to get out of back fifty. Stewart has been sensational, Tuohy has been serviceable, Kolo is improving, he will make it. Zuthrie needs a spell but not sure we can give him that, probably Thurlow in for him would be a smart move but we are Geelong so they will probably bring in another debutant just for the lols. Henry looks ok but made a few errors. Very little height and leadership so no wonder our defence looks horrid.

As for the forward line, again, no ruck, no decent entries into the forward fifty. Ratelagoua or however you spell it looks like a great find, Menzel has started the season very well and Tom Hawkins finally showed some signs after doing bugger all in the first two games. Not sure how Parsons gets a game but Gregson is once again starting to apply pressure. The problems begin and end in the coaching box. Despite playing badly, coaching and selection bullshit we aren't that far off being 3-0. We are though only one kick away from being 0-3. Scott is cooked.

“It's understood Dickson claimed McKenna bit him after the Irishman was run down by the Dog on the wing.
“The pair wrestled on the ground after Dickson won a free kick for his tackle.
"Dickson is believed to have complained about the treatment when he ran to the bench immediately afterwards.
“McKenna will probably be cited for misconduct, and the incident is likely to be sent straight to the tribunal.”

If guilty he needs a few weeks off. Totally not acceptable

And REB goes wack...

I think both the teams who played Easter Monday were pretty flat yesterday. And despite that were both in the contest. Long way to go chaps.

Hawks generally pull up better than the Cats after Easter Monday

but the Cats were goneski right from the word go. 1 min in and it looked shambolic.

the sad thing is we played 30 mins of footy and if it weren't for the injuries we probably win, which just shows how shit the Eagles are.....the good thing about yesterday was securing $2.75 on the Eagles in last qtr when they were about to go BANG!!!

Cats will make the 8, but not 'easily".

An "away" Elimination final beckons.

only 3 games in ol mate. Have a bit of faith. We have the bye this week remember so we'll be 2-2. Hopefully Duncan and Taylor will be back the week after and Hendo not long after that. Things aren't that bad. We'll still touch a few teams up this year don't you worry about that

Dont be so sure about this week. The loss after travelling to Perth is back in vogue this year. Sydney lost to Port at home and then Essendon lost to the previously rudderless Bulldogs.

A lot of people have been lining up Ablett but he's been our best player this year. He was instrumental in getting us back into the game last week and when he went down that was a bridge too far for our boys. Having the genius Scott run him into the ground is a shocking look. 34 year old midfielder Scotty, let him go up forward a bit more when he comes back. Some people call him son of god but he is sadly human.

When you have very little depth and you already have a bunch of kids out there I don't think the loss of a two time Brownlow medallist and premiership player could be considered a blessing.

Tell me how Sandilands gets a $2000 fine and Gray got a week?

Gray, split second from getting the ball and braces for impact, Sandilands lines up a bloke who is off the ball.

Rated as careless, low impact, high contact.

Careless v Intentional is an interesting one here. Both Sandilands and Lyons are not competing for the ball so it would be intentional contact and not careless, yes?
