Did they miss Rockliff?

I blinked and missed Rockliff today

Pity you didn't pay closer attention then. Did an excellent job on Mitchell in the second half. Mitchell has 21 to half time and 11 in the second. Rockliff tied him right up.

Meh... and Rockliff had 10 for the day. I'll give him a point for slowing down Mitchell but he had a very quiet day by anyones standards.

He got moved on to Mitchell because he couldn’t get a kick. Surely you didn’t recruit him on big $ to be a tagger

He wasn't brought to the club specifically to tag. He couldn't find the footy in the first half, was asked to perform a role for the side in the 2nd half and did so.

Doesn't mean we will see him line up to quell Martin or Cotchin on Friday night.

Surprised he even got fined, isn’t he one of the untouchables?

Should of got fined and suspended as it’s an ugly look for the game.

North need to challenge this farcical Simpkin suspension.
Christian makes this shit up as he goes, then changes it when he feels like it.
Our tribunal system would have to be the most inept in world sport.

Saw him last night talking about the Fyfe suspension :

"A raised forearm or elbow is usually conclusive that it is intentional,"
Christian said.

Usually conclusive? I would have though conclusive means, well, conclusive.

It's an appalling system that has the bloke ( Hocking ) charged with the look of the game signing off on suspensions handed down by the "independent" MRO. Christian really is just a puppet for the AFL's football department and not a man of his own convictions at all.

Do you think there will ever be a season when we are not talking about the tribunal decisions?

Probably not, but it's hardly the hardest job in the world to get right at least 95% of the time.
