How many flags did he deliver?

well he's pretty much single handedly got us to two GF's... When will gooses like you realise there is 22 players in a team.

Judd didn't bring any flags to carlton.
Lockett non at Sydney
Dangerfield non at Geelong
etc etc

Buddy has been a massive success at the swans, on and off the field and anyone who doubts that has literally no idea about football

Why??? The narrative is an individual cant win the ultimate success unless the team around him perform at their highest level when needed... If anything the team has let Buddy down...
2014 GF buddy was excellent. His team mates were sh*t and Hawthorn were incredible..
2016 GF buddy played on 1 leg and still contributed... And the umpires were cheats

Not to mention the countless games he's got us back into and won due to his individual performance... he's won 2 colemans with us.
And with the delivery he's been getting of late from up the ground is piss poor and I don't care who you are you will struggle...

Then look at the financial side of things... in 2012 I think we had something like 30 od thousand members, now we are up around 60k... Sh#t hes my daughters favourite player...

As a swans supporter I am rapt with what he's done...

I would’ve thought if you sign a player on the biggest contract the league has ever seen, you should expect to see at least one premiership out of it.
You can throw up all the other pros to him coming to Sydney, wubbsy but if come the end of his career he hasn’t delivered you a flag then in my books that’s a clear fail.

I recall a swans lad at the cricket club declaring on securing Buddy... we have the next 3 flags in the bag!
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

Sorry mate I meant the narrative others want to use...the old debate about what constitutes success. Premiership or failure seems to be the common theme.

One of the problems in Sydney is that an extremely defensive minded team recruited an extremely offensive minded player. One can only imagine what impact Buddy would have had or would be having at one of the more attacking teams in the competition.

I have no idea... I reckon he can if we actually have some luck with injuries...

But what about Ablett and Danger???

Sydney’s problem is they are too predictable going forward, just about Franklin or bust. He needs a foil
