I know he tried to get out of Fremantle last year but a trade couldn’t get organised in time

Thought he was trying to head back to SA though.

Will be a massive signing if the Lions can snare him, starting to build a formidable team up there.

yeah and I could see Freo offer that straight away for mitch McGovern.
But 7 news said tonight they believe Good Coast are willing too give up their first pick for Mitch as well

Ready to go, has at least 5 years left in him, would be a great fit with their current midfield, the Lions window is opening and could be as close as 2 years away.

Have the Vic media speculated on any Vic based players moving or only those who are outside of Victoria?

McGovern, Ellis-Yoleman, Polec, Wingard, Neale, Hannebery, Beams etc etc

Moore, Francis, Dahlhaus, Libba, Wallis, Acres, Billings, Tim Kelly, Hogan, plenty of Richmond ones. Plenty of chat most days on radio about them.

He is perfect for them, they don't need anymore picks, grab a proven player in his prime with plenty of time left int he game.

Wit the state of SA's 2 clubs at the moment, returning back to SA obviously isn't attractive.

If Port get pick 4 for Polec with no other swaps made to sweeten the deal, that would be the worst trade anyone has ever done (besides McLeod for Groom LOL)

Gold Coast trading pick 2 for Lachie Weller last year easily sits at the top for me.

They just need a forward to combine with Hipwood. I’m surprised they are not going hell for leather at McGovern

McStay keeps getting better in the air and contests, if they could fix his kicking somewhat (and I reckon it’s mostly between the ears) he’d be a handy forward.

Can’t see Saints giving pick 4 up for Polec. He could put the 800,000 on his head and he could probably get too saints in the PSD. Blues, Gold Coast and Brisbane aren’t paying him the 800

If the Saints give up pick 4 for Polec, they should be disbanded from the competition
