The roof is going to be closed at all Marvel games for the rest of the season, about time!
Dave Warner will be missed!

Can the roof at the MCG be closed too then?

It’s an outdoor game

Correct, it's also a game played on a north south facing ground.

Thank Christ they decided to close the roof.

I'll put money on it.

I can see a news article in the very near future;

"Given the difficulty in determining whether a kick for goal is touched or not, the AFL will implement a 'who cares' rule where, if the ball goes through the goals, it will be classed as a goal, despite whether its touched or not. "

Which of course will in turn cause all sorts of issues when deciding on goals/goal reviews.

In 20 years time "touched" off the boot will count as a mark because it's too difficult for umpires to determine if it's been touched or not.

FFS, AFL get in touch with the people and start controlling the game.

I assume he’s talking about Woods comments about gambling and removing them as sponsors of the game.
He talked about how much of a problem it currently is within the AFL.

On radio last night, Dal Santo said PA went to AFL about gambling 5yrs ago. AFL turned around and said we'd slash 35% off the TPP....then it was forgotten

Go to the AFL website, go to the game and hit buy tickets, looks like there's limited numbers still available.

I'd expect that would be all that's available at this late stage.

GA tickets go on sale about 4 weeks prior.

First thing that jumps out is how good Collingwood's draw has been, only 5 games against the current top 8.

So far this season the team sitting in 18th at the beginning of a round has won more games than the team occupying the 2nd spot on the ladder.
