Allegedly. There is also talk that one player has self reported 22 times for using illicit drugs, citing mental health issues.
As per usual, the AFL has cocked this up big time.
People with genuine mental health issues should be as far away from the stuff as is possible. Not testing them helps no one and probably hurts them.
22 times? I would call this habitual use and should be taken off the clubs active list.
Then put through rehab for 6 months, regularly tested, and not allowed back on the active list until he passes 6 months clean.
This offender should also be dropped back to minimum wage for breach of contract.
This mental health card is disrespectful to the players who are genuinely ill, not someone with a drug problem!
