I know that it is inconceivable to not watch the grand final but looking after my elderly father that day so going to introduce him to the film “The Princess Bride” as he not interested in football and as I get older, my enjoyment in all sports has dropped significantly.

I’ll be heading to the footy club like I’ve done the past 15 years, then catch up with the missus afterwards.

Sleeping in, seems like such an anti climax to footy season after last Sunday.
Will end up at the pub like I do on a usual Saturday arvo when not working.

Mrs Spargo & eldest daughter are die hard West Coast members. We’ll be stopping home, watching it on the big screen. I’ll light the Weber, do some chicken wings, ribs & steaks throughout the day. I’m tipping I’ll be 8-10 cans in by the first bounce...

I'd be giving Spargo more credit than that, 20-29 with a big feed in amongst it.

I don't understand how sitting at home or passenging back from Mildura I can get through a box but I wouldn't be too pretty getting through 24 pints at a pub? Does drinking from a glass give a different affect somehow?

GF day at our place this year, about a dozen friends plus a few kids coming over. Trying to keep things a bit simpler this year, so Burgers and Hotdogs will be the order of the day, with various nibble plates regularly on the go, then maybe crank up the Weber post game.

Wifey is working all day and most of the night, so just me and Junior Pirate will be hanging out.

It will be interesting to see who falls asleep first on Saturday night.

Channel 7 will not be having a GF Marathon from Friday night as in past years. Instead they are replaying the Preliminary Finals between 12.55am and 6.30am.
