This time have gone ADL/MEL/SING/Shanghai 10500km 2 stops 14.5 hours flight time. Approx 19 hours total.

Not sure if they have done this because the AFL have made them use Virgin (code share with Singapore Airlines) or because Cathay Pacific pulled out of sponsoring? Either way, that extra stop/6 hours is just unnecessary.

Didn’t China Southern sponsor them for awhile also?
Obviously the timing didn’t suit for the direct ADL-SIN flight?

They sponsor the Crows,

Timing is always paramount but there are also 3 airlines flying direct out of Melbourne to Shanghai so I am guessing the change was contractual and timing played its part.

Only 2 direct from MEL now I think and they aren’t the best [emoji3]

Barring any further injury ( [-o< ) by that game :

Lycett, Wines, Ebert and Burton should be back into the side that lost on the weekend.

Hartlett may be ready for AFL action.

Unlikely Dixon would be ready for AFL action by then.

What do you think the Port lineup looks like at full strength? Whose in, who misses?

Smalls on the bench and only 1 tall and 1 ruck in the forward half, where's the 2nd tall?

Like I said, I knew I'd miss something.

I can't see Ryder/Lycett, Dixon and Frampton/Westhoff/Marshall in the F50, as such I've put Westhoff on the wing playing a fwd/mid role and Ebert can play the lead up/third "tall" role to some extent having the marking power he does for his size.

In a perfect world Marshall is probably in that side, bumping Butters to the bench and Farrell out but I'm keen for Marshall to spend an extended period in the SANFL, I think we're putting too much on his young (skinny) shoulders.

I'd do very similar to your last paragraph. Frampton/Marshall in as the 3rd tall, I'd send Ebert to the bench and Farrell misses.

In current form it's nearly Frampton/Marshall in, Butters to the wing, Westhoff out.

I’ve never known anyone to hate HK but everyone has different tastes. About 12 years ago I had the opportunity to move there for work but declined as our son was still quite young. If I had the same offer today I’d be over there tomorrow

Interesting that Port took Hartlett who isn’t/wasn’t ever going to play and Rockliff who was always doubtful. Must have plenty of cash to throw around

Stinking polluted concrete jungles jam packed with people that also has noone out and about after 2am doesnt appeal to me in the slightest. And I was lucky that i got to stay in one of the best hotels and eat at the best restaurant in the place all for free.
Would have to pay me at least 100k to go there again.
My exs parents who are now passed away loved the place though.
God knows why but they were easily pleased when it came to travelling.
