Of course he was going to celebrate and try and get some energy into the group.
Tell me the difference between his celebration and someone first pumping and yelling cmon after that?
How come no one has bagged Zak Butters for his goal and celebration against Brisbane when we were 5 goals down?
People wonder why mental health issues exist. The minority of people that didn’t like it the other week quickly got called out on social media & put in their place

This has been discussed a bit among a group of mates recently, particularly in relation to Taylor Walker. The bloke's had some hits and misses for sure as has the the club he leads, but the pounding he's copped across all forms of media (corporate and social) since the 2017 GF - At a time when the football world is trying to address the mental challenges their young men have to contend with - Sends such a poor mixed message.

When discussing this in isolation ( away from the on field and off field parts of football ) it's fairly well impossible to think of a more hypocritical set of circumstances.

Coaches and players are sliced into tiny pieces by the main stream media and then as they step away from the game and piece themselves back together the very people who chopped them up send their best wishes to them.

They'd shoot him live on camera if they thought it'd improve ratings. Then they'd bemoan the tragedy the following week.

Ladhams signs a 3 year deal keeping him at Port until the end of 2022.

Marshall signs a 2 year extension keeping him at Port until the end of 2022.

The Ladhams deal is very good for Port, the Marshall one is a bit of a surprise.

Frampton is out of contract too, but yes, I'd say that means Ryder will be let go.

Would be irresponsible to offer a 31 year old who manages an achillies every week and has been dropped in recent weeks a deal when we've invested so much into Frampton and are just starting to see the results.

Hayes would have to be thinking about a trade, now clearly 4th in line, 3rd if Ryder goes.

Hey? He's 19 and just came back about 7 weeks ago after an ACL and then glandular fever, he's probably thinking about playing some football before he thinks about where he sits in the clubs pecking order.

True but a club like Essendon or St Kilda could offer him a guaranteed start in round 1 next year which would atleast make him have a think about it. Kids are pretty impatient these days
