‘Allegedly’ or course.

This comes from a good source who got it from the father of one ex-player and another ex-player himself and two other people I work with have been told the same story by 2 senior soon to be ex-players.

Allegedly they were trying to teach the 1-4 year players to not always take orders and see if they could think for themselves. So they had them all in a room and they were giving them orders like, drop and give me 10 push ups, just simple things like that. Then they said drop your pants and stick your finger up your bum. One of the players actually did it. They didn’t think anyone would. I mean honestly who would follow through with that if asked? That player was obviously highly embarrassed and so the cover up began.

That bloody stinks. Geez they'd be dirty if that is the case.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Rowey has just asked Chapman what the review said about him, Roo and Fagan - as usual he has deflected it and Bicks steps in and changes the questioning.

Fagan in 2016 -

Crows CEO Andrew Fagan described Burton as a strategic and innovative thinker, who had forged strong relationships inside the Club and across the League.

“Brett has an incredible work ethic, outstanding communication skills and a thorough understanding of the industry from a playing, high performance and administrative perspective,” Fagan said.

“We worked our way through a long and talented list of prospective candidates from across the AFL and beyond, and quite simply Brett presented himself as a compelling option for the role.

“He is widely regarded as having the attributes to be one of the industry’s leading football administrators.”

He thinks he's the best person. Anyone with some humility and self respect would have reflected on the various failing on his watch and perhaps decided that a decade or more in charge is nothing but stoking a very healthy ego. If the Board is so capable as he has also stated then perhaps a change is required. It shouldn't be too hard. Perhaps he is hanging on to announce a move to north Adelaide.

Yeah I don't disagree there, probably no obvious board member to take over at this stage. Did indicate that board members will change portfolio's so Roo probably in the gun there.

How does Fagan survive though?

Rowey is bit of a cheerleader at times but in this case Bicks has the crows back on 5AA so he was able to bail Chapman out a few times.

Some good old fashioned back slapping as well.

Yeah yeah thats a good question there Bicks lol.

not entirely sure. i listened to the interview and Bicks did ask something like "you've overseen two big sagas in your time, why have you kept your position?"

"is that a question?" was chapmans response

Bicks fired back "well what's your answer?"

Sounds like a question to me and old mate Chappy didn’t have an answer.
