Dal: Do you know more about the Adelaide camp that hasn't been released?

McClure: Yes. It's a sensitive one because a lot of the players involved are still at the club and don't want stories coming out because it'll effect their relationship with the club.

If something that bad did happen surely players would have grounds to get out of the place

So when club was investigated about the camp, all the participants lied?

Who really knows and i wouldn't be surprised either way but if you were say a CEY, you might have been worried that the truth makes your position at the Crows untenable and that your opportunities at other clubs could be very limited. That would definitely play on your mind heading into a interview.

Come on mate, your not silly enough to believe the full story has been told.

We've now already seen CEY come out since leaving the club and say that the camp divided the club and killed the culture etc, a couple of days later Roo comes out and say it had nothing to do with why CEY wanted to leave the club.

This has been one of the worst handled damage controls you will ever see and the Crows only have themselves to blame this is a continuing news story with no closure.

I heard the CEY interviews and that’s not quite what he said but I have one view and others will look into it what they want

He also said some of what was reported as rubbish

I am sure there is more but they are only rehashing it because they have nothing else to talk about and they know it promotes discussion

But why rehash it then say nothing. Just trying to make himself more important than he is

Reckon this Mason Cox story has ‘found him out’ too

1 - He was asked a question and answered it
2 - I think most of the industry knows more
3 - Who's to say the question wasn't asked?

Was funny when Cox tweeted a "Fake News" Trump GIF, he may have been inquired about, Collingwood shut it down, he would never know.

The Bombers shut it down, even Mason Cox himself shut it down. But Cox's manager Adam Ramanauskas has confirmed this morning on RSN that Essendon did at least open up the conversation with the Collingwood forward.

No, its very funny the response it got.

Fact is, Adelaide are 5th in line for a coach, who knows how Teague, Shaw, Ratten & Longmuir will go but they were all off the market by the time the Crows started looking.

I wonder if this is why the review is dragging on so long?

The reason it wont go away is the Crows refuse to come out and tell the truth, tell the whole story. If they did the right thing 18 months ago the issue would be dead in the water and nobody would be talking about it. Unfortunately, they know what they did to Jacobs and Betts was disgraceful and they cant seem to admit it!

My guess? The Collective Minds contract includes clauses that do not allow certain aspects of the camp to be disclosed or the matter would become litigious. If some of the rumors are true then 1) the "shock" factor for prospective clients is reduced/gone and 2) who in their right minds would sign up to it? Whilst the out and out nutters ran a shambolic "course" they may have at least got some sound legal advice when setting up the contracts.

Reckon you may have hit the nail on the head.

Sadly for the Crows though i don't think the story will remain a secret forever. I guess they just hope by the time it is every released most of the staff/management involved have had their careers and ultimately nothing to lose by the story coming out.
