On field the loss of Dangerfield, Lever, Cameron and McGovern has added to the player exodus from years prior and the scars of the Grand Final don't appear to have healed, in part because of the next bit.

Walsh, impossible to measure the toll that took on the players, Bailey, again, impossible to know how that impacted upon them, Jacobs, Walker and Sloane had their personal tragedies last year and the fall out from the Collective Minds debacle didn't help.

Put aside the footballers we all like/dislike for a moment and look at them as people, they must be exhausted. If you worked somewhere where the boss was murdered, his mate and confidant lost an all too brief battle with cancer and two of your colleagues lost babies you too would be hurting. You too would be drained.

Clearly they brought Sloane in to the dual captaincy to help Walker who carried so much for so long, off field especially, but they really look cooked, mentally and emotionally.
Well put me boon and I would say you are right.

He hasn't watched many games then, but he said it was the worst performance he's seen from a side talked about as a contender.

Jacobs off under the knife for his knee, out for at least 6,

Good in some aspects, gives more game experience to O'Brien who appears to be developing well

Really? Haven’t seen anything to suggest he has what it takes.

We all know big men usually take longer, so good luck to him I hope it works out, but have my doubts

Played 4 AFL games. Perhaps after a few more you might be able to tell.

Adelaide member racially vilified Ryder on Twitter last night has been banned and membership cancelled. WTF is wrong with people! He and people like him (racists) are a disgrace.
