Sutcliffe was embarrassing. Really embarrassing.
Selection committee anyone?

It made absolutely no sense to bring him in.
Back your on ballers in to get the job done.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Ken made it pretty clear why Sutcliffe was given a game

Not too many one game wonders at clubs but Sutcliffe will be one of them for the Power, he put the fear of god into me with his tagging :D

Was another stupid move. Need to concentrate on the way we play first and foremost then plan for the opposition.

Yep. It’s your home game, back your mids in to win the ball or play a tagger on him that can do a decent job fairly. This all out physical attack on Neale was bush league stuff

Didn't see the game but they are sitting 2rd now and going well. Although I'm not sure what chop Port are to be honest.

I'll let you know once I work out how to say 2rd

I think it’s pronounced “turd”.

Very good Side in greasy or wet conditions. Handle it much better then most due to training and playing in humidity.
Night match in Brisbane come finals, very hard to beat.

I'm thinking of going out and getting myself a Lions guernsey for the finals, I'm really glad to see them on the up again, even more so with what Beams did to them during the off-season.

They are so exciting to watch. Neale has been a huge upgrade on Beams

Yeah. but having both would've seen them match Geelong in that department.

Went to North/Essendon on Saturday, was a great 1st quarter but then both coaches locked it down, one thing I noticed being there live and sitting in the forward pocket ( yep the one Tippa kicked the last goal from ) was neither team attacked through the centre square and both teams were excellent at stopping switch of play, which makes it for a short kicking contest or a long bomb down the line type game.

GWS/Richmond the next day was a bit different, Richmond do spread their press much more and back their players to win more one on ones. Richmond were OK but GWS were putrid, some of their efforts without the ball were well below AFL standard, just let Richmond run in numbers and do what that wanted. Work hard against GWS = win.
