I have to say, based on reading my replies, I can see why Joe wants out.

He’s given the club 7 years and had his rehab botched by a negligent medical team.

Now, certain Bomber fans, and Dodoro, want Daniher held to ransom against his will.

Disgraceful.

#AFLTrades

Again, a lot of mis truths.
Joe and his manager have stated it’s purely a lifestyle choice and he wants to get out of the Melbourne bubble. He hates the media limelight and being harassed by them constantly which came to a head when he was meant to be in rehab for his surgery and one of the grubs filmed him downing pints with a few mates and plastered it in the papers.
As for the medical team who knows, perhaps things could have been differently. The club went and saw a specialist who initially recommended to avoid surgery (similar to Brad Crouch) and that rest, recovery and strengthening would fix it. When it flared up again they sought out a different specialist who recommended surgery and that’s where we sit currently.
Much the same as Papley, Hill, Howard, Bruce and a host of others he is contracted and a deal hasn’t yet been done. Doesn’t mean one won’t be but as a fallback option all those players can be held on to by those clubs. A deal will be done for Daniher, we will get less than we want and you will pay more than you want but Joe will get what he wants

Ah yes, that rumour.
One look at Joe would let you know that couldn’t be true :)
It also flies in the face of several reports that the players are all begging him to stay

We have tried to get him for the last 4-5 years in a row and the answer is always the same so won’t be any different this time.
We want a ready made player so perhaps a third party is involved somehow

I honestly don’t know a Collingwood supporter who rates him.

The coach obviously rates him.
To miss a couple of months of football and to be brought straight back in for a Prelim shows how much the club rates him. Still only 24 so plenty to offer IMO

Agreed, turned the corner 18 months ago and became a bone fide AFL footballer IMO.

I'd imagine he'd be a great lad, his old man is a cracking bloke!
