Not as knackered as Slobbo.

How's the drunk's question of whether this could affect Gil's position as the boss.

Listening to Eddie you would think Round 1 unlikely to go ahead. I would much rather wait than play one round and then wait six weeks for next round, agree with Garry Lyon to just delay the start, whats the rush?

Either way, if the season does get played, think it will be with no crowds all year. Cant see anything changing much for 100k to be jammed into MCG for a Grand Final!

All bullshit aside, unless clubs have chartered flights they are they'd be stupid to fly commercially without knowing where every on their plane has been or come into contact with.

Surely this will get nipped in the bus this evening and postponed.

He's got a job for the same reason Rucci, Kane, McClure, Barrett et al have a job... people love to be outraged by their opinions and they get ratings.

Not sure how true but speaking to a couple of Essendon folks today and they have said that it looks like AFL lists will be increased to 50 and that all clubs are speaking to players from other state leagues to bring over. There will be a mini draft in a couple of weeks and these players would be treated similar to others taken in the rookie draft.

The players want a 22 game season.
Clearly all about the money for them....

He'll be earning his dosh atm.

Correct, its easy to pot guys like Gil when its seemingly all going well, but it times like this that the leaders of big industry are certainly earning their cash (no matter how much we think or don't think they should earn)

Agree
While I have not great affinity for the AFL, the decisions they have made over the last couple days have been as good as they could.
Save for the mini-draft again

Meanwhile, Richmond and East Melbourne residents can hear the MCG's siren being tested ahead of tomorrow night's scheduled Richmond v Carlton clash.

why not, each team would be reduced to under 100 each assuming the 2 change rooms are classed as seperate gatherings.

would the shortened quarters be so they can do away with water boys?

Perhaps they could implement a reduced coaching box, just the coach and 2 assistants, no statisticians. This should be a permanent thing, it would increase scoring.

Yep, play it all or nothing.

Or we could have the following for all clubs

Eg

Adelaide Crows A side
Adelaide Crows B side

9 a side
2 reserves

10min qtrs
Unlimited interchange

3-3-3
