Round 1 won’t go ahead

I reckon it will go ahead but without the crowd, the cases are still very low.

Personally believe the timeline will be as below, but thats not how i would manage it.

-Round 1 goes ahead as per normal
-Round 2 & 3 goes ahead to empty stadiums
-Round 4-8 gets suspended.

Whilst i dont by into the hype of the virus i think the AFL hand is going to be called by the government. For mine the best action would be to suspended the start of the season and turn it into a 17 round season with each team playing each team once. All games played with crowds in stadiums as per usual.

The F1 GP is going ahead but the gates are closed, no spectators.

The ODI in Sydney is going ahead but the gates are close, no spectators.

You can sure as hell say Thursday night Richmond v Carlton is going to be played in front of 250 seagulls.

I think you will find all events that attract crowds will either be suspended or have a lockout in place......except the NRL.

NRL will aswell, they played last night before any further information had been released. I’d say it gets canned soon

Yeah probably. They initially said they will have a meeting after round 1, but surely that is happening right now.
