WB only have to play one other finalist from last year twice, despite making the finals themselves. Kissed on the D!ck, a lock for finals you would think.

Can understand the Easter Monday fixture as you wouldn’t want to be removed from that fixture

We all know why they do it $.
Just like highlighting it in advance for when the water works come out in September as they can't watch Jenkins kick a bag at Kardina Park in a final.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Of course it’s $$$.
They are not going to play an Easter Monday marquee game at a boutique stadium so they are either stuck with playing a home game at the MCG against Hawthorn or giving up the EM game and let another club play the Hawks

Easter Monday just isn't Easter Monday without the Cats playing the Hawks.

Taking out the Tassie games, North only travel 4 times, once to each state, pleasant change.

Guessing that was the trade off for Good Friday to get North at the MCG in a home game not Marvel

Six games in Melbourne, but none until Round 9. One Saturday, two Saturday night, three Sunday twilight.
No trip to Geelong... Finally!!!
Two games against Carlton, Essendon, Gold Coast, GWS and Hawthorn
One Thursday night , two Friday night, two Saturday, three Saturday twilight, seven Saturday night, two Sunday, four Sunday twilight.
On a rough look, not too bad for the swans this year

The positive contribution that Josh Jenkins will make nullifies any perceived negatives in the draw.
