Adelaide Crows 2020

Postby Brodlach » Wed Nov 27, 2019 8:22 pm

Time to look forward with new coach Matthew Nicks

First night of the draft we selected Frazer McAsey at our highest ever pick.

With plenty of “bolters” selected early there are plenty of good players left at our next two picks at 24 and 25. Will Gould looks likely.

I'd be amazed if Gould doesn't go in the next 10 picks, not being a mid or forward probably stops him being picked up last night, would love him at North.

I agree, would be surprised if we don’t take him with one of our next two picks

He’s just what we need coming off half back. Would immediately replace McMillan/McDonald.

LMA , close to the mark. Robertson would be the one you would go for. I don't understand why he has fallen so far. McAsey is a KPD and this may influence Gould. to be passed on.

Good on Sydney for taking Stephens and sticking it up Adelaide for trading picks with the Giants.
Did they also stitch up the Crows to get Gould?

We received 2020 1st rounder to move back 2 places and still get the guy they wanted. That's good business. Also getting Worrell was a better pick than Gould. I think on the highlights I've seen is a player that will definitely make it. Left footer as well. I'm happy with the overall draft picks,

Please, they are not going to come out and say we wanted Stephens but had to settle for the next best because the pick swap with Giants stuffed it up. Same applies to Gould.

My understanding is the Crows weren’t keen on Stephens and I also heard he was a no show for a interview with them a little while back which left them unimpressed
