I thought that too. Can't recall hearing the bloke before though, so maybe that's how he sounds all the time?

I heard Fagan. He was his usual arrogant, condescending self.

So they set out to train in groups no bigger than 2, but couldn't do it.

Club is in good hands.

He is out of his depth in this role. Why the SANFL Club people were happy he got the job as hated working with him.

Plus police fines for each player and potentially having to restart their 14 days.

Kelly sounded defeated on radio this morning, and has been in the place for 5 mins.

Can't fine the club and players...one or the other
you expect a footy ops manager to sound up and about after this shit?

AFL fine the club, police fine the players, thats how I would expect this to play out.

For someone brand new to the role you would expect him to be a little more fresh and positive.

There is apparently going to be a press conference at 3.15pm with SA Health and SAPOL regarding the incident.

It does not reflect well on the Crows and won't reflect well on SA Health or SAPOL either if the Crows were given special treatment that Mr and Mrs Ordinary Person wouldn't get.

Crows will throw Ben Hart under the bus and sack him.

Just about over the AFL and their we're more important than everyone else attitude during this time.

Not sure the good folk of the Barossa will be too please given the scare they endured after the Yanks littered the shit everywhere.

That's what i was thinking.

Far be it for me to stick up for the Crows, thats not what im about ;)
You blokes do know where the Novotel is dont you? It couldnt be more isolated.
Im sure us Barossa folk are fine with 16 people staying in a place where they are the only occupants.
Isnt this what international flights have been doing?

Theo from Ch7 reporting cleared by SAPOL, just waiting for the AFL recovery fund/sledgehammer/sanction to come this arvo.

Maybe they should have said pairs as opposed to groups of 2. ;)

My idea of "isolation" must be different to yours.

I really couldn't give a toss what they do, I was just under the impression if you came back home to isolate you go home and isolate.

Penalties expected to be handed down today.

With money tight draft sanctions might be more of a chance than a fine.

Kelly just said it was "more affordable to support the players at the Barossa facility than it was in their own homes"

Turn it up!

That’s because the accommodation was free

“ Crows boss Andrew Fagan says the cost of accommodating 17 people at the Barossa Novotel for 14 days was less than the cost of delivering gym equipment to the players at home. This decision isn't costing the club any money"

“ Andrew Fagan also justified the Crows players training on a public golf course; "We had booked out several holes for a number of hours so the guys could train in isolation”

I’m sure they would have got free delivery of gym equipment if they had too.

Sometimes it’s just best to say we **** up!
