That was my first thought. I've only heard snippets of what he said though, so can't really pass judgement either way.

Adelaide defender Wayne Milera will undergo foot surgery and be sidelined for two months.

Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders said Milera reported pain in his left foot at the completion of Thursday’s main skills session.

“Imaging has shown Wayne has a stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal that requires surgery to ensure the best possible outcome,” Saunders said.

“Wayne is such an important team member and this set back is obviously disappointing.

“In the past he has proven to be a total professional with his rehabilitation and we look forward to seeing him work hard to optimise his recovery.

“Surgery is scheduled for this afternoon and as soon as Wayne has recovered from the operation, we will facilitate his travel to join the rest of the team on the Gold Coast if required.”

AFL PREMIERSHIP ODDS
$5-00 Collingwood
$251 Adelaide Crows

Coillingwood the favorite
Adelaide the longest odds

Does this mean that Adelaide Crows are going to finish with a wooden spoon in 2020 ?
Adelaide was the 2017 Grand Final favorite at about $1-70 when beaten by Richmond
Why the BIG slide ?

Looking at Dutchys post theres several recent departures
Heres a few in the last 5 seasons

Betts
Cameron
Dangerfield
Greenwood
Jacobs
Jenkins
Keath
Lever
Mcgovern

Thats a great deal of skill level gone

Interesting that with most reviews of clubs/organisations, there is always an immediate spike in form, etc as a result.

Would there ever have been a bigger fall the other way as has happened to the Crows??

Doubt Dunstall and Pavlich will get any more invitations to conduct further reviews!

Maybe a bad sign for the Redbacks when Hussey releases his report this week!!

Weren’t Dunstall and Pavlich fairly restricted in what they were and weren’t allowed to do. I thought I read that somewhere
