What! SA Footy has the best bean counters in the land, just ask them. All things Port is their specialty, it's quite "exhaustive"

Better than being blindly ignorant imho.

Poor old LMA .

Not ignorant just out of my hands, all I can do is pay my membership and attend games. Better than being a shit c*** who takes joy in the misfortunes of others

Nice photo, had an inkling you were into underage girls.

From your posts on the Crows/SANFL forum especially regarding “AFL reserves in SANFL” I’ll assume your joking re: taking joy in other people’s misfortunes.

If you are Happy to give it out...........

Looking forward to another bumper 2020 for Kenny & the PAFC.

Opposing opinion isn't taking joy in the SANFL situation, keep searching and you'll find a post saying I prefer the setup how it was. The Crows thread is just stir and banter not obsession like the PAFC thread is for you. The first step is admitting you have a problem, I'm here for you man.

Have I hit a nerve big fella :-)

You know a few of us on safooty like a good “stir”. So tread lightly with PAFC underachieving so prevalent these days.

Some of us are adults and take it for what it is. Others throw temper tantrums on Xmas day.

So you want myself to do as You say but not as You do. That’s Surprising.

Let me try and cheer you up with a joke.

What’s the difference between PAFC and a Vietnamese phone book ??

The Vietnamese phone book has more Phans. :-) :-)

Haven't been happy with this deal for some time, I'm happy to take the money while it's there but I don't think it's long term.

I believe a joint major partner to join GFG will be announced soon.

Back 6 :

FB) Bonner Clurey Byrne-Jones
HB) Hartlett Jonas Burton

Next in line - Watts, Garner, Lienert

I think 5 of the spots here are set, Bonner the one under most pressure notably from Garner and Watts.Lienert might have to bide his time for either of the mid/tall posts. Grundy needs to get a wriggle on in his development as Georgadis might be able to play tall fwd/defence, most likely as the tall forward developing at SANFL level. Crucial to any side is ball movement and I think Hartlett and Burton are best out of the D50 delivering the ball up the ground.

Midfield :

R) Lycett Wines Houston
C) Amon Boak Duursma

Next in line - Rockliff, Drew, Atley, Mead

I don't have Rockliff in my starting midfield ( not in my side, actually ), balance looks better with only one of Wines, SPP and Rockliff in the middle mix, need to see Amon continue on his path of development, Duursma to keep doing what he does and I'm looking forward to a year of Houston in the midfield. Lycett leads the ruck, perhaps more than sharing it as I think (like) Ladhams will play a slightly different role.

Forward :

HF ) Rozee Dixon Ebert
FF ) Marshall Ladhams Gray

Next in line - Cox, Williams

The most congested for spots and frustrating line in the Port side, have under delivered in the last two years. Rozee and Gray are set, I think Dixon, without any ruck duties and back to full fitness plays the higher key forward role as I’d like to see Ladhams playing closer to goal. I don't think Westhoff plays too much time forward and Marshall isn't the lead up big man, I've got Ebert at HF as the inside mid rotation and 3rd marking option forward as well as pressure inside 50 with recruit Dylan Williams ( 185, 79kg ) ready to make an impact right away Ebert and Marshall will have some immediate pressure for spots.

Int )
Butters, small forward rotations, outside mid minutes, I50 pressure.
Westhoff, midfield rotations, tall forward option
Farrell, I've got big wraps on this kid, want to see more of him in the high half forward role
Powell-Pepper, he's not as polished as some but he showed last year he gives it all and I want that in my side

Next in line – Rockliff, Drew, Atley, Watts, Mead, Lienert, Garner, Cox, Williams
PAFC. Forever.

I note you have Boak in the middle.

I thought he played his best football last year forward.

Either way he is in the starting 18.

Boon you will need Houston to continue his rapid rise as a midfielder if this team is to take the next step IMO. I think he might be able to do it. With Boak nearing the end & Rozee at least 2 years off being a star midfielder someone will need to step up and provide some spark/skill alongside the bull in Wines.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Boak had an AA year playing mids last year. When he goes forward he gets lost like a norffy lookin for a Wendy's in Port Adelaide.

Who are you kidding, the players know its only their 23rd year. I can just see Ken in his pre match address saying to the players, cmon we have to try harder today, its our 23rd season! On the back of that I think they'll finish in the top 15

Forward? He played predominantly as a midfielder and was, for much of the year, in AA calculations.

From what I saw (do not follow Port as close as you) he was very good forward. Just my perception from watching on the TV.

I thought it was his best ever season.

Would be up there with his best years - I thought he was cooked but throwing him back around the ball with the Captaincy responsibilities I was well surprised with how much he had to offer. Probably the old case of form is temporary class is permanent.

Or could be a case of the easiest place to get a kick is in the midfield?
