Short memories over in the SANFL threads, oh the treachery!

I think that stems from 1990 not 94.

It’s hard to define or judge from the outside.

Coaches are judged on finals but not sure about CEO’s.
He’s well liked by his peers apparently so he must be doing something right.

Posters on there don't recall or don't want to recall who it was that went behind everyone's back on the agreed position by all the constituent clubs?

After years of mismanagement by Port folk it took a Norwood bloke to pull them out of their mess ;)

Completely agree, think he’s done a fantastic job (Norwood bias aside)

Some really interesting comments in that press release, makes it clearer why they haven't paid back their bank debt under Thomas for 1.

KT started well but fair to say but he’s struggled the last few seasons.

Re-signing Hinkley incase he’s lost to Gold Coast
Not trusting his gut on the dual captaincy call
Struggling to attract that second major sponsor
No real traction in China
Causing a disconnect between the club and it’s fans.
Crowds dropping away as quickly as they have at Adelaide Oval.
Port achieving no onfield success whilst in his tenure

“The Norwood Flog” did a great job setting up PAFC initially at Adelaide Oval and NTUA will be forever in PAFC folklore imho.

So at this stage KT and Hinkley gone at years end (if no finals for Ken) Only Koch to go.

Now if we can get a happy clapper summary, the truth should lie somewhere in the middle

PORT ADELAIDE has signed a multi-year partnership with Balfours Bakery, bringing together two of South Australia’s oldest and most iconic brands.

Balfours will be a Principal Partner to Port Adelaide’s AFL side and the Joint Major Sponsor of the club’s SANFL team. Balfours will support the Power’s efforts to create world-class game-day fan experiences and support the development and progress of the Magpies in the SANFL competition.

As part of the three-year agreement, the Balfours logo will be seen on the back of Port Adelaide’s SANFL guernsey.

Some of their cakes and slices are excellent but their pies, pasties and sausage rolls are as bad as you will get.
Good get for Port though as the San Remo group are quite financially sound I believe
