Knock it down and move into the modern era. I thought you saw yourselves as trendsetters?

Itll probably replaced by the little mini league scoreboard, afterall the scores don't matter in any games that are played there these days.

Fair point actually.

What percentage of port adelaides population have been conceived under that scoreboard on a Grand Final night ?? :-)

Whats the sound of one hand clapping?

Says the Centraaaaals "supporters".

Port Adelaide midfielder Tom Rockliff says the club is now training in groups of 10 people in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The players are trying to limit their contact with the outside world and were briefed to stay away from larger crowds across the weekend.

Rockliff said a few of the players enjoyed a round of golf on Sunday but have been spending plenty of time at home.

So if the season doesn't go ahead... does Ken meet his 'makes finals' trigger or not?

Inside the old canteen under the Alberton scoreboard. Would be many a year since you could get cigarettes at the kiosk of an SANFL ground

I may have enjoyed a pie and a dart from there as a 15 year old lad enjoying the good years of the Magpies.

Has PAFC thought of auctioning off that sign (and anything else that might be of value?). Im sure they would get a nice price for it.

When the old AO members stand came down, I got one of the old Green signs "Food/Drink/Beer" for $250, now sits under my pergola at home.

The numbers/letters I think are being framed and auctioned off.

There would have to a story about that surely? Some sort of well intentioned volunteer got stuck into it before the professional came along and did the top section?

Port Adelaide council workers probably did it on Friday arvo after a lunch session at the Alberton Hotel.

Some great memorabilia to grab hold of for a port man!

As a kid who worked on the original Unley Oval scoreboard before it was removed in 1988 i wish i had the foresight to take a piece of it!
