W L D
1. Richmond 16 6 0 111.5%
2. Collingwood 16 6 0 111.0%
3. Hawthorn 16 6 0 110.9%
4. Melbourne 15 7 0 109.1%
5. St Kilda 14 8 0 107.0%
6. Geelong 14 8 0 106.8%
7. GWS 14 8 0 106.6%
8. West Coast 14 8 0 106.4%
9. Western Bulldogs 13 9 0 104.6%
10. Brisbane Lions 13 9 0 104.6%
11. Port Adelaide 11 11 0 100.1%
12. North Melbourne 9 13 0 95.9%
13. Carlton 9 13 0 95.8%
14. Adelaide 8 14 0 93.9%
15. Essendon 6 16 0 89.5%
16. Gold Coast 4 18 0 86.1%
17. Sydney 3 19 0 84.3%
18. Fremantle 3 19 0 84.1%

That's how my predictor panned out. I think Geelong and Hawthorn may miss the 8 with Carlton and Brisbane replacing them. Not sold on the Bulldogs, Bruce and Keath wont have the impact everyone says, they are ordinary footballers. I also don't think Melbourne and the Saints will be that high.

Biggest rise- Carlton, could be the Brisbane of this year
Biggest fall- Essendon

Premier- West Coast
R/Up- GWS

Brownlow- Dangerfield, no one to rob him of votes now
Coleman- Hipwood

I know they're not what they used to be, but hard to see them or any other side going 15 losses on the bounce in this day and age.

Freo and Port at home would be their best bets, although Port play the SCG well and Freo traveled well last year.

Problem(s) - game style, Buddy a year older and fixture. The fixture Brisbane had helped them no end in 2019.

Where will your mob finish and why? 9th. The new Richmond. We'll improve but depth is still a concern. Fixture is still pretty difficult.

Your top 8.

Not us, nor Essendon, nor Adelaide, nor Port.

Your Grand finalists.

Richmond vs Collingwood

Who will rise up the ladder most?

Melbourne. Most of their team were in for surgery pre season of 2019. Draw will be easier and they'll improve no issues.

Who will drop down the ladder most?

Brisbane. Easiest draw in the comp last season and it will be hard to back it up. Most teams will work a way through their structure.

Also think GWS will slide.

i know some supporters are actually deluded and talk nonsense about their teams chances but surely you are taking the piss. Your actually thinking Sydney will make the top 4. Buddy already injured Kennedy and parker getting older and your defense not getting any younger. Will Nick Smith come back to the player he was. I see you have Carlton finishing bottom 2. Carlton will be big improvers this year. You talk about the west Coast 06 premiership is tainted have been on what they were in 06. maybe buddy gave you an 8Ball
Didn't Nick Smith retire or am I thinking of someone else?

I reckon it was Grundy!! Pretty sure Smith missed a fair bit of footy and is coming back from injury!!!

I can see the WB moving up. Some good pick-ups and good existing players. WCE with Kelly and fit NicNat plus others my favourites. I think and hope Adelaide will move up with more pace, home ground and some dead wood gone. BL may drop slightly with more teams aware of their potential. PA may be a bit static or may just scrape into the 8. Sydney era may be over. GF may be WCE and Richmond. Geelong and GWS are a bit hit and miss.

I reckon there's two sides that are hard to read going into the season, Geelong and St Kilda, for varying reasons, obviously.

The Cats will win their fair share at home but will the ageing legs of Dangerfield, Selwood, Taylor, Ablett, Steven, Hawkins and Jenkins have the run to carry them deep into finals? 16-6 last year, will they again be a top 4 candidate?

St Kilda have been on a spending spree and Hill, Jones, Butler, Howard and Ryder immediately make them a better side. Ratten taking the reigns on his own will be important, can they go from 9 wins to 12 or 13 and challenge for the 8?

Reckon Melbourne are in a similar boat. They had a better list than their finishing position last season suggested, but have they found that avenue to goal yet? Goodwin needs to go real close to making finals you'd think.
