Couldn’t tell you the last time we beat Sydney at Docklands.

Watched some of the Melbourne v Carlton game, Melbourne aren't very good but Carlton look a long way off and what are they doing, a rebuild or not?

Simpson 35, Betts 33, Murphy 32, Curnow 30, Casboult 30, Jones 29, Newman, Newnes 27 and Kreuzer 30 would be playing of fit, so 6 players 30+ and 9 over 27 in a side reportedly under going a youth injected rebuild?

They went all out when SOS took on the GWS scraps and it looks like the last 5 years have been wasted. Time to start again, again.

Speaking of age, I was most suprised when it came up on the weekend that Hawthorn's team was older than Geelong's on Friday night!

Really? Burgoyne, Puopolo, Henderson, Frawley, Smith, Stratton, McEvoy, Breust, Shiels, Scully and Gunston all 28+, there's a slide coming for the Hawks as they've not been to the draft for about 4 years bringing in any top end picks. Clarkson will need to muster up every bit of his wizardry to keep the Hawks in the 8 over the next 2-3 years.

Carlton was the 4th oldest team on the park on the weekend.
Yeah I think its because I didn't realise how old some of their middle of the road players are, most tend to drop off lists before they hit older ages.

Had a draw in 2008 Round 6 at Docklands.

Round 6 2007 North 16 15 111 def Sydney 14 11 95 at Docklands. Since that win Sydney have won 5 times at Docklands by an average margin of 21 points. ( There was 1 point win to Sydney in round 10 2011 )

In the last 20 encounters Sydney 15 wins North 4 wins 1 draw.

They didnt make the 8 last year, and going by Friday nights game, they wont make it this year. The slide has well and truly started.

Tonight's Hawthorn side is the oldest to take the park in VFL/AFL history
