he and KG will represent a portion of the supported base in near despair at the landing place for the Crows. But in the fullness of time, Thebarton may well be more than adequate for what they need, and all the alternate sites will be forgotton. Probably not a fantastic location in terms of traffic and transport, but it is mainly a training facility and it appears to be a large enough parcel of land.
I've just had a bit of a look at the proposed facility, does indeed look world class.
Thing is, has it been designed for the football program or the football program and the customers? Methinks those who are upset about it know the customers are being left out. No surprise, they've been ignored for 30 years.
Where?

Don't know what they have in mind for SANFL, that is clear as mud right now. Would hope their interests are not being overridden.

Yeah look I share his comments about the parklands preservation society and the council. The PPS has the council by the balls and always will. The crows were on a Hiding to nothing against the council.Ronnie wrote:speaking of 5AA, David Penberthy very negative this morning about the Thebarton news, bad location, 'second rate option'. We need more cafes in the area, there's currently only 6 millions down Henley Beach Rd.
PS God, imagine how many "The Barton Ovals" we will get in interstate press now.

Don't know what they have in mind for SANFL, that is clear as mud right now. Would hope their interests are not being overridden.

My mail is that getting the SANFL to agree to all this is going to be very difficult, Crows getting these plans out there without any agreement with the current long term lease holders is to put some pressure on IMO
