Yeah agreed, communications content would be directed by the board.
Only the timing and who to would be the coms managers role.

Well the communication person wouldn't actually know what the truth is would they as they most likely weren't on the camp.....they weren't interviewing players about the camp. They would have been fed whatever the board/ceo whoever in their hierarchy they report to told them

I was thinking in terms of the script/story/message, but after thinking about it I reckon the board would have to dictate that.

I'd be thinking gm of communications would be knackered after all the shit Adelaides been in since 2017.
