How does the Fog hardly get a mention for how shit they have been? Seriously, he is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen.

Said it before the season started numerous times, they are over rated.

Shouldn’t have contracted Nicks so early, there was no rush.

Questions have also been raised about the quality of the Crows’ eight-man leadership group, which was voted in by the playing group with the backing of the coaches.

While second-year captain Jordan Dawson is a star and the right man for the job, forward Darcy Fogarty has hardly fired a shot this season, kicking only two goals, Lachie Murphy shouldn’t be a walk-up starter in the team, Milera has had an injury-riddled career and former Lion Mitch Hinge has had only one strong season at AFL level.

Smith, lead ruckman Reilly O’Brien and Ben Keays are the other leaders.

I know teams do all sorts of different stuff pre game these days but was interesting to see that it was McHenry who did the rev up at the huddle before they got into positions against Fremantle.

Not to say he couldn't give a good rev up but interesting choice.

Devastated for him, finally had begun to string together some strong games after the same injury a few years ago.. now setback again. :(

2 forced changes and surely have to make some others to prove a point.

For me:

Out
Milera
Murphy
Fogarty
Jones
Pedlar

In
Curtin - 10 marks in sanfl, lets see what he's got
Dowling - 190cm mid, bog in sanfl last week
Nankervis - cover Milera/Jones on half back/wing
Gollant - hasn't set the world on fire by any means but hasn't had an extended run, it's always just a few games here and there, give him a decent run of games to see what he can do
Parnell - i was liking him until that big hit a few seasons ago

Crows best player.
They're toast without him.

Forgot about Butts, good inclusion. Not sure how Jones survived, he's regressed from last year. Not surprised Fogarty still in, shows the coaching staff have no trust in Gollant and Himmelberg

I've never questioned his form, only his leadership.

Sam Berry, we have zero depth and agree Fogarty and Rachele walking fine line.

Has Rachele bulked up too much and lost some agility?

Still got named again this week, though. Nicks does like his favourites.

Most important I think. Allowed Laird to move into the midfield a few years ago before he was injured then allowed Dawson to move in their when he came back in. You'd think one of them would have to go back into a back line that's devoid of any experience.

Worrell ( big fan of this kid, but probably playing taller than he should be given lack of big man depth ) Michalanney ( kid is a gun I think ) then Butts, Keane, Parnell, Nankervis and Smith who has had a howler of a start to his year. Smith is in that age bracket where the body can fail pretty quickly, at 32 and having had a major knee injury he might just be walking up to that wall. I wouldn't say he's hit it, but he's getting towards it.
