12 legger yesterday.

NM vs SYD.

Over 175.5
SYD 40+

Buddy 4+ goals
Heeney, Papley, Reid 2+ goals
Gulden, Rowbottom 15+ disposals
Hall, Simpkin, Mills Parker 20+ disposals

Last quarter starts 99-53 with Buddy needing 2 more goals, Mills and Gulden needing a touch or two to get over the line.

Sydney kick away to a 58 point lead after Buddy nails a couple while I'm at Seppeltsfield doing some wine tasting, I have a little cheer to myself as I'm home with the bet collecting $148 for my $5 outlay.

Check a few minutes and it's back to a 46 point lead with a $115 cashout option, then it hits 40 with a $103 cashout so I shat myself and cashed out.

Thanks Sportsbet for the cashout option, ended up being a 38 point win, I had already spent the money

It did help that on Thursday night I had $28 in my account and was doing $1 tri's on the dogs and got it up to $380 before taking $350 out Saturday morning.

F*** me, that is just too tight, you can be in and out of that margin within 90 seconds.

You don't get $66 on a two legger if you go wide though, do you?

Not at all, I like to use FNF to get some kitty for the Saturday, I'm looking for a SGM to try and turn $20 into $100, building it around Fritz for 3 goals, Kozi 2, looking at a Gawn and perhaps a Sparrow/ANB/Spargo for a singular, Viney for 20+ and Dees 25+.

That gives me $11.75 using Spargo out of the 3.

Made a mistake, it was $15's, I forgot to put the margin in.

One thing I've always struggled with is line betting.

Brisbane +41.5 is @ 1.32. Does this mean as long as they lose by less than 41 points that leg gets up?

Geelong -17.5 is @ 1.68. Does this mean they have to win by more than 17 points for that leg to get up?

Yes to both.

+ = head start

- = handicap

Brisbane can also win by any margin.
