totally agree, just be nice if the same rules applied to business as football, i can go out the State for work but cant come back bloody joke

BRISBANE will board a flight to Melbourne on Tuesday afternoon as it gets ahead of any possible problems with the latest COVID-19 cases.

Lions players got to the Gabba on Tuesday morning but were quickly told to turn around and pack their bags for a flight later that day.

They are due to play Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Queensland recorded four new locally acquired cases over Sunday and Monday, leading to the South Australian government closing its border.

South-east Queensland has ramped up restrictions following the latest development.

The Lions are unsure how long they will be away, with games scheduled against St Kilda (Gabba), Richmond (MCG) and Hawthorn) MCG) following this weekend.

Earlier in the season Brisbane was forced into a 16-day stay in Melbourne following an outbreak after they boarded a flight to play Geelong in round two.

I think the AFL need to have the hub in Geelong and all games for rest of the year including GF are played at GMHBA

Crows and Port gone to Melbourne, looks like all games in Melbourne and Tassie now.

AFL wants the season to be completed in Melbourne.

Nothin’ like an each way bet.

My understanding is that the Crows v Brisbane game is still scheduled for Adelaide. Both sides are in Melbourne just in case things go bad here and if not they will fly to Adelaide the day of the game and play
