I think the team that has most exceeded expectations for me this year is the Bombers, bar perhaps Melbourne. (I probably had the Swans a bit higher than most.)

Bodes well for Essendon given they're clearly early in the rebuild of their list and they've got a lot of first and second year players with plenty of improvement in them.

Bontempeli has the ball and charges into the pack. Ball dislodged in the tackle, free kick Bontempelli. :shock: I'd to see what they get if that's not getting a ride. A few minutes later another mystifying free kick to Bont...all in the crucial last five minutes.

Yep they were terrible. The Blokes a superstar no doubt, and would absolutely be a worthy Brownlow medallist, but you know he’s going to pickup a few extra votes from the ump love which could be the deciding factor.
