Feel like we've got the scoring power to beat them. If the midfields break even ( we smacked them in the last round 51-18 hit outs 35-28 clearances ) we should get enough opportunities to kick and winning score.

I reckon they need to get English in the middle, but then they lose him as a target forward.

Hope they belt the shit out of each other because we probably won't get much a hit out against Melbourne this week so we should be nice and fresh for the GF.

100% agree with you actually. I reckon the dogs are a good bet here.

You won't get close, Melbourne will take care our you pretty easily.

It will be a nice warm up for them to go into next week.

I wish I had that confidence ;)
I reckon we are a chance, particularly if Bont is fit. However, I am very fearful this will be the end of the line for us.

My hope is for Stefan Martin to come back in, allowing English to play forward. Stefan has had three weeks back in full training now, but limited actual game time preparation due to the VFL being cancelled. I still think he is worth the risk.

Even with that hit out and clearance domination by Port, they still only just fell across the line. A more competitive effort from our mids should set us up nicely. With Keath back, Port will certainly not have it as easy up forward as they did last time.

Not with concussion, but likely to not play due to the head knock.

There's no way he can play, subbed out with a "head knock" but not concussion?

Yep, Im inclined to agree that you need to roll the dice on this one. Lycett was huge last time you met Port and English, whilst having plenty of potential is bang average when he's not having a rare moment of ability.

Not after the precedent that was set earlier in the year when two Collingwood players suffered head knocks but not concussion - they were still ruled out the following week by the AFL.

Ahhh, our speed of hand has bedazzled you I see, AE, much like the Crows used to bedazzle me with their 'Crow throw' ;)
