Good deal for Gold Coast, get rid of picks they can’t use this year (8 picks this year but will only use 3) for picks they could use next year

In reality pies get two first round picks and nothing in two drafts
All about points for Daicos

This kid would wanna cure cancer or at least win a Brownlow in the next 3 years. Collingwood giving up the kitchen sink to get him.

Cats asking for pick 8 for Jordan Clarke.
Didn’t realise Dodoro had moved to Geelong

0 for Hewitt
6 for Cerra
61 for Young? Or swap a 2nd and 3rd rounder perhaps?
still have pick 25 and obviously next year's draft picks which we can bolster the Cerra deal with if need be.

Don’t need any youth?

25 for Cerra also, that leaves nothing for Brander or Houlihan.

Rumours are that we'll swap a future second rounder if need be for Cerra.

I'm not convinced on Brander at all.

Youth? That's got us places in the past 20 years! We need 20-28 yo's "for the now".

Who knows, one of our stars may want out next year and you get a 1st rounder back as compo?
The draft is a joke with trading future picks.

Might be no truth at all but he does fit the 'profile' of a player who would be looking for a fresh start at a new club.

Now 23 years old yet still in and out of the side, playing in a state his not from, has had the odd off field drama/incident/illness.

Could be a win/win for both clubs.

If he only cost us at most an 3rd rounder then yeah sure. Too many off field issues with him.

I laughed because the report was "West Coast are interested in Powell-Pepper" , Doc runs with "Powell-Pepper wants out from Port".

He might be one that we feel we've invested in for long enough and have seen what he's got to offer and decide to start investing in someone else. Wines, obviously, then Drew who is now ahead of SPP when it comes to inside mid roles and the likes of Amon and Houston spending more time in the centre with Rozee, Butters and even Bergman looking to break in there if we could get a 2nd rounder for him it might be time for him to move on.

Agree, I think moving him on is a win/win. 2nd rounder win for Port, 3 rounder neutral trade.

We need to get some picks in, we've only got 16, 63, 73, 74 and 92 and will use a lot on Burgoyne.

I doubt a bid inside pick 30 comes for him so you should be fine.

Perhaps, but with no Vic Metro footy his efforts at the Eagles will stand out.

Trent, already listed at Port, hasn't really shown much but will get one more year.

Jase, dominant for the Eagles U18's, very light on but will be a star, will go probably late 2nd round this year.

Rome, just starting to show some signs, gun runner.

Good having a mate in the Eagles junior system, get good mail form him.
