Jarman's skills left and right were elite.
Gray's elusiveness and finishing skills were pretty to watch.
Went through a flopping phase for a while, which wasn't great though.

I'm a huge Port and Gray fan, but for me it's Jarman everyday of the week.

Comparing anyone to D. Jarman is just not fair.

I'd be a better comparison to Darren Jarman, at least I have a similar sized gut!

Best year to watch DJ was 1990 when Nunan cleared out the entire forward line and had him full forward by himself.
No 6 6 6 in those days, the poor full back!
Was great fun to watch.

Was at 1997 GF and still don't know how he scored some of those goals even in slow motion, he truly was a magician.
I always would have taken his brother before him though from watching them both 1983 to retirement but different players so an unfair comparison.

D Jarman's goal early in the 1987 SANFL Grand Final, collect, bounce and boundary line run, then kicks it on his left just coz he can.

Ian Day's call of it was an iconic childhood sound too.

Robbie Gray holds the record as playing the second most amount of games for Port without being a premiership player.

Westhoff 280 games
Gray 264 games

Corey Ahchee I believe was the first port player to play 200 games plus without a premiership

Fair crack bud.

Reckon I'd get Wines in there probably for Stevens (different styles of player I know).

Tough picking the bench, some excellent Port players will be missing out, but Lade would be the first I'd include.

I'd probably whack Wines in the guts and Boak on the flank.

AhChee still gets around in the B Grade for the Eudunda/Robertstown Saints.....despite only being 5ft nothing I seem to always find myself with him on me, needless to say I rarely get a kick

Absolute legend of a bloke who does so much for his local community club.

Funnily enough he played against North Clare b grade the other week who featured Daniel Schell...….I wasn't there but apparently neither went near each other the entire game.

Agreed Wines needs to be in there - Brownlow medallist - and Stevens was my first thought to drop out.

I'd also have Lade as first ruck ahead of Primus.

Otherwise I agree with LM's team.

Agree with this and I would swap Pickett Peter Burgoyne. Pickett hardly played in defence at Port? Mostly forward/wing?

Congrats to Robbie on his career.
4 wins and 15 losses to Geelong is a fair effort. ;)

Rules were changed to curtail Primus' dominance, he is the #1 Port ruckman at AFL level.

I’d have Russell Johnston in the ruck.
