Crows and Port to AFL: We're important enough to have the Friday night slot
AFL to Crows and Port: Sure you are!
AFL to Channel 7: It's OK, we'll put another game on so you can telecast that nationwide and just show the Crows v Port game in SA.

When it was programmed originally the AFLW GF was meant to be on Saturday so they didn’t want it running up against a men’s fixture so they moved a men’s fixture to Friday night. They obviously were unwilling or unable to change it back.
Personally I think there should be 2 games every Friday night

No reason why they couldn't have double headers on Friday nights in the early rounds with daylight saving still going. 2 x 7pm local time kickoffs in ViC and WA.

7pm WA is 10pm Vic so finish time would be nearly 1am, they'd never do that.

I bet when the fixture was released, no one (including me) would've thought the game early on a Sunday would be between two, two and zero sides.

Go blues.

Staggering. Maybe they think if he cant get a kick, or more than 4 touches, against one of the two worse teams in the comp (with NM) then he will never get a kick. Absolute last chance.

Not going the two pronged attack this week, I thought they played the role of a non-scoring forward extremely well.

If there was no VIC teams playing they wouldn't watch anyway. And it would be primetime Friday Night viewing in WA rather than the Friday night footy they currently get starting around 4.20pm. And And it caters for us Friday night boozehounds looking for more sport to watch after 10pm.
