First time I've seen your mob Jim but by geez you were horrible. We've got Freo next week but I couldn't take much from it because your mids didn't really work hard enough defensively, and you were lacking key defensive posts. Darcy and Tabener took marks as they pleased. Can't see you making finals unless you have a heap of improvement/players come back.
We were never making finals. I told everybody that at the start of the year.
Not sure you are that bad Jim, I mean your not playing finals but not bottom 4.

In that 10 - 12 range I reckon.
Nah, we are bottom 4. 6 wins tops

10-12 is the amount of clubs you can rule out already after Rd 5 I reckon.[/quote]Yeah true. Rule out about 17 clubs at the moment to be honest.

We're not going anywhere despite a 4-1 record, but only winning 8 of 20 quarters and with a percentage of 102.

Yep, as I've mentioned before we are a work in progress. I wasn't expecting a 4-1 start to the season but I'm certainly not getting carried away. Three of those games we could've/should've lost.

But as you say, a win is a win and we'll bank the 4 points at this time of the season - cos let's face it for us, it's rarified air.

I'm concerned that for a team so bereft of wins we get really complacent in patches and go back to the kick mark game which caused us so much trouble last season. I'm 100% sure the brains trust are working on it because it's those old bad habits that allow teams to score runs of goals against us.

Let's not worry about a player being thrown to the ground without the ball

Terrible by the Hawks then

Dropped a mark
Gave away a free and 50

Then nobody on the line for a shocking Cameron kick

Typical, Hawthorn can't miss and our only straight kick was a miskick!
