A very odd game of footy.

Have to give it to north they moved the ball really well for 3/4's.
Davies-uniak or whatever his name is killed us in clearance and hit up a forward most times.
Larkey was brilliant, zeibel took some strong grabs.
North will get a big scalp before seasons end.

As for the crows, I'd hate to be a forward.
They kick too often at the player rather than to him.
Kick it into space for the forward to run to.
But there's no space because the smaller forwards are dragging their defender to that space.
So they sit on walker or Fogarty's head.

Walshy would be shaking his head at that one for sure.
Your prize no1 draft pick does an acl playing B grade.
Wouldn't that go down a treat with the fans.

BS - sensible decision when he hasn't played for a month, gets some confidence up with 29 touches and comes in fully firing for this weekend.

If he had come in and pulled a hammy there would be outcry for playing him at AFL level, can't win....

Just wondering where all the outcry & accusations were when the Dogs never played Ugle-Hagan until round 17 last year…

Only big scalps left are Richmond this week and Sydney in a few weeks. Can't see them getting near Richmond.

If North are in a similar position as to where the Dogs were this time last year then maybe.

There is a world of difference.

You’re right, maybe if the played Ugle-Hagen they might’ve won the GF last year.

Play the Suns final round who have beaten Freo, Carlton, Sydney, Richmond & really should’ve beaten Collingwood.
Saturday’s effort would see North account for Hawthorn, Essendon & Adelaide comfortably in the run home…

Not sure how you match sim him on a bye weekend...had 8 touches in his last game at AFL level, not exactly on fire...will Rachelle come straight back into the Crows AFL team?

He would have been cooked at 1/2 time as he hasn't played for a month.

He's had 1 AFL preseason and played a handful of games with a few hamstring injuries. They just needed to ease him back in now and get some work into him.

Remember he got 2 games for a late a hit, kid needs to come in via the 2s, nothing wrong with that.

I was one who claimed I would rather have North Melbournes list than the Crows at the start of the season and I regretted that early on......but now into round 18 and I actually stand by that call on the basis JHF stays at North.

Davies- Uniacke is a gun in the big body mould of Petracca. This kid could be anything with the right players around him. Has A+ quality written all over him.
JHF- His going to be a gun and as good as we all thought. Another future A grader
Simpkin- Another quality mover.....only 24 plenty of improvement to come from him.
Larkey- In the top 10 big forwards in the game at the moment...only 24 will only get better. Is/will be an A grade forward.

When I look at the Crows they don't have a big bodied midfielder which all the good sides have. They are a midget fleet. There midfield is full of goers but terrible terrible footskills.

Forward line is still based around a 30 plus year old with no obvious answer as to who replaces him.

With the right coaching etc etc I think the current North list has got bigger room for sudden improvement with a lot more potential star power.
