See the Crows have dropped Crouch again, one would think he will be elsewhere in 2023

Yep.

Taken them 7 years too long to realise he hurts no one in a game.

who's taking him? tried to get out of Adelaide last year and no one wanted him. Can't see it being any different unless he takes a massive pay cut.

Part of that would have been him wanting a 4 year deal, Adelaide ended up giving him 2, if he'd taken 2 elsewhere he might have got it.

I can't see anyone taking him.

Not every player needs to hurt the opposition though, if he can win the ball 30 times and move it on to the blokes who can hurt the opposition and use the ball well than that has to better than the opposition having the ball an extra 30 times surely.

That's his #1 problem. Win it? Yes. Give it to someone who can hurt the oppo? No. Nearly every possession is to a teammate in trouble, or a clanger.

Ill admit I didn't watch the game but this doesn't look like the worst day out given how shit the crows were.

His stats looked ok.....

28 disposals
86% disposal efficiency
11 contested possessions
2 turnovers
7 clearances
6 tackle (third highest tackle getter for the crows)
14 pressure acts which apparently is in the high category

Now they replace him with a young bloke who will get 10-12 possession, 1 clearance, a couple of tackles

To be fair he's not giving it to anyone who can actually do any damage anyway. Adelaide have an abattoir, not a midfield.

Well there's that.
Still, what chance do they have when given the ball in a shit position.

Crouch in a decent side that has a couple of polished mids already would be ideal. He will find a home

Adelaide don't have much in the way of polished mids.
He'd fit in at geelong
