Howd the poor man's Casboult, McKay go today?
Wasn’t required.
Curnow had them covered himself.

Should have just nailed a simple goal.Jim05 wrote:Wright was 25m to the side of Jones screaming for it. E.g. Boak earlier this year against the Crows.
Should have been set up for the miss before he even kicked it, Pies ran that out with no pressure whatsoever. Poor coaching on and off the ground indeed.

Peter Wright is the only bloke I have any confidence in from a set shotRB wrote:Wright was 25m to the side of Jones screaming for it. I said we do it constantly. Was 4 or 5 yesterday before that final goal. Our on field leadership stinks. He is the worst captain in club history and directly cost us 3 goals in the last quarter but we haven’t got anyone else. Heppell was on the bench at the time, but you keep doing you.

I’ve got no issue with that being a goal. I don’t think he moved too far off it and it was great kick.Booney wrote:JK wrote:Technically speaking, should the Elliott goal have been disallowed? Marked it with 32 seconds remaining but kicked after the siren, so technically play on before he kicked it?
And, whilst only minimal, he didn't appear to kick over the mark. I've seen instance where players kicking after the siren have umpires stand behind them to ensure they are doing just that, obviously the siren rang as he kicked it but it wasn't over his mark.
Nonetheless his mark and kick deserved a goal.
