Geoff Walsh has stepped down as St Kilda's head of football four months after he was appointed to the role.

The club says that the long-time football administrator is moving away from the club due to family reasons, with Walsh to finish at the Saints this week.

At a guess, would have been opposed to Silvagni being appointed. Yes I'm sceptical.

Collingwood. Carlton, North Melbourne and St Kilda in 26 months.

Fremantle have named Alex Pearce as their captain, that’s come from nowhere

Didn’t he captain them last year in Fyfe’s absence?

I recall him captaining them a few games at least.

Pearce captained Freo in Fyfe's absence last year including their semi final loss against Collingwood so it's not a huge surprise he's been named their new captain. I can't find how many game he captained Freo in 2022 though.
