Brisbane have picks 14 (1161 points), 33 (563), 44 (362) and 69 (49) - 2135 points. Probably get end of round 3 compensation for McStay. Around 500 points - 2635.

If as expected Will Ashcroft is called at pick 1, that equates to 3000 points. They don't even have enough for him let alone getting Dunkley in.

They'd be into a deficit for next year ( spending 3000 and only having 2635 ) and would lose a late 2023 pick. So, who do they send to the Dogs?

Interesting watch.

An aspirational goal of winning 3 premierships in 5 years, it was never stated "we will", it was the goal. Just as 100,000 members is.

Twist it to suit the anti-Port narrative and add it to the "missing puzzle piece" pile though.

I love how much you all hate us.

What a surprise mr boon who can happily point out the faults of every other club in the afl. But when u mention ports failings he has a cry.

Good to see Somethings never change. It’s not our fault Ports won nothing in 20 years.

The Western Bulldogs will use Josh Dunkley’s improved statistics across every key indicator since his 2020 trade request to demand two first-round picks from Brisbane for the 25-year-old star.

The Lions on Monday made a spectacular start to their 2023 campaign when Dunkley officially nominated Brisbane as his home of choice next year.

The Herald Sun understands the Lions offered Dunkley a huge six-year deal worth between $700,000-$750,000.

The Bulldogs had offered a five year extension and Port Adelaide were prepared to offer $650,000 a season over five years.
