All in South Australia.
13 April to 16 April.

Additional details:

* Scheduled for round 5

Norwood is in interesting venue, no cricket is a plus but small ground and small change rooms/facilities - the coaching boxes desperately need an upgrade. Would have thought Richmond, Elizabeth or Noarlunga would be better options, but the later 2 probably missed out due to location.

Norwood can probably hide a small crowd better also, expect Freo/GWS or the like there

I hope that happens, would be great to watch them (or any AFL game) at a SANFL or Regional venue

Shows how much an extra round of footy is worth when it comes to the tv rights deal.

Rounded out many a Sunday morning at that establishment.

I had a mate that was the deso try and do a runner on us, he got in his car (Maccas carp park) and then proceeded to head down West Terrace to get on to Port Road.

He copped a red light out the front of the Newmarket and fell asleep waiting for it to turn green, got woken up by the coppers........................he wasn't deso for a while after that.

Does this mean SANFL member get in free

Entry to competing club matches will be free for all club and AFL members with tickets to be on sale once the full 2023 fixture is announced in the coming weeks.

SA Premier Peter Malinauskas said the local SANFL competition will have a bye round to ensure maximum attendance at the AFL games.

I would assume Members of an AFL club, not SANFL.

It does say "free for all club and AFL members" and the SANFL is cancelled for the week. It would be a big bonus to get SANFL membership.

I mean Sturt v Glenelg or Norwood v North only draws around 3 K each where as GWS v Gold Coast will draw around 300.

Who should be having the bye?

Surely by club it means AFL club as AFL Club members and AFL members are two different things. I hardly think they free for all SANFL club members.

What' s Magical about this round is how an organisation that gets $4.5 Bill dollars in media rights ( 7 years) can then get State Govts to put up $14 Mill (reported) of tax payers money to promote the game for them !

I fell down a full steep flight of stairs at a joint on Hindley Street, ended up on the road with blood pissing out everywhere from my head and my tooth protruded my lip, and they wouldn't let me back in. I think it was called The Venue, just a single narrow steep flight.

The AFL will soon announce four field umpires for matches in 2023.
There won’t be any emergency field umpires so if there’s an injury, they’ll revert back to three.
Nine field umpires have been promoted ahead of next season, AFL will have a senior list of 40-42.
