Good luck tipping this round.

Only certs imo are Sydney and Fremantle, I wouldn't be putting my house on either of them.

Has there ever been a round 1 where all away teams have won? Right now that’s how I’m leaning.

Never in the AFL era.

Last time in the VFL was 1980:
Carlton beat Collingwood at Vic Park
North beat Essendon at Windy Hill
Fitzroy beat Footscray at Western Oval
South beat Geelong at Kardinia
Richmond beat Hawthorn at Princes Park
Melbourne beat St. Kilda at Waverley

Oh for the days of more than 2 grounds in Melbourne.

Wasnt the Saints home ground Moorabbin?

St Kilda stopped playing at Moorabbin at the end of 1992

Yes, but they were the first-listed team for that match v Melbourne at Waverley so I'm regarding them as the 'home' team.

Reckon Melbourne and Richmond might struggle with the opposition's tall timber this weekend. Think the Cats can cover Hawkins. If Freo don't beat what's left of the Saints they can give up now. Hawks v Bombers who knows really. Both SA teams to lose with Port getting smashed.

regards,

REB

GWS v Adelaide - Adelaide by 46
Hawthorn v Essendon - Nobody involved watching this wins.
St.Kilda v Fremantle - Ross the loss.
