He kicked it before the siren but then the siren went through well before the Essendon defender punched it through.
Why would it not stand?

The siren went before the Essendon player punched it. Surely once the Essendon player touches it the ball is dead.

I would get it if the punch was before the siren and then the ball went through for a point.

Scores always count after play has ended even it is touched by another player unless the behind was not assisted by a player from the same team.

Carlton being rag dolled by Collingwood.

Mitch McGovern has come off the line of the ball twice already…. Money well spent.

The Eagles took just one mark inside 50.
I listened to most of the game on the radio and it was an absolute drubbing! West Coast continue to go backwards.

The injury excuse is an absolute cop out too for West Coast.
The Essendon top up sides of 2016 never got beaten by this much against the best sides let alone a bog average Hawks side that will finish bottom 4 this year. The West Coast players have simply given up

The rule being as it is means that a touched behind after the siren functions just as a touched behind during the quarter.

I really enjoyed that, I loved the way that the boys kept on fighting out until the end even though things didn't go there way.

And for the record I am talking about my sons under 8s soccer side....
