We have nothing left, absolutely cooked. Nice to see some effort for a change but we won't be able to run this out.

We’re our own worst enemy, constantly gave it back to Adelaide when not under pressure. The goals we gifted them through simple skill errors was staggering. Got within a kick going into time on of the second qtr then gave up 3 late ones. Didn’t bother to come out after half time and before you knew it the margin was 50 pts. I’d seen (and heard) enough by then, managed to make the 3:35 to Seacliff & was having a pint just after 4.
The Crows have multiple, dangerous forwards that can kick them from anywhere - matched up against our inept, slow backline it was a result that didn’t surprise. I’ll critique my mob further another time.

Didn't get there until into the 2nd quarter and it seems I missed the best bit.

Was up in the Eastern stand and while I much prefer to be at ground level it was good to see the system and structures in place from up high. It was a very bruise free type of game, both teams seem to move the ball against each other at will with very few stoppages between the arc's.

It seems to me that we are coaching ball movement as a priority and defence secondary. Firstly at selection we aren't picking some of our best tacklers but then come game time when we won the footy it was fast forward footy which exposed us on the inevitable turnover. Im ok with that but defence needs to come into the frame at some stage, probably the preseason focus I guess.

We have kicked 10+ goals 7 games in a row now after kicking 18 goals in 3 games from Rounds 6 - 8, got to look at the little things.

Defence is a concern but mids and fwd's are functioning well. I took particular notice of who was in the centre bounce (was plenty of them) in the 2nd half and it was great to see the kids dominating this.

Overall a pretty ordinary day, ended up at the Sol rooftop and a few expresso martini's helped immensely!

Crows look pretty good, but be interesting to see if they can handle immense pressure of a highly defensive team come finals

I still think we miss out but it could come down to which side wins this week between us and the Bombers.
