Lol, I'm pretty drunk but that's all in your head. Port fans care calling for blood at the moment and have desisted about 10 players themselves.

 that even reads drunk

Not sure you're reading the room on this one. Very few defending the decision to reappoint or the selections.

Some of these posts last night from Wedgie are cringeworthy. Literally primary school kid stiff. I bet he'll feel like a tool this morning when he looks at them. I'm sure he'll act all cool and say it was pretty funny but the fact he'd think that says it all anyway.

He’s just trying to have another swipe at Dixon without writing Dixon ;)

Rinse and repeat, it didn’t stop just in this thread.

I seriously don’t understand how Port started as $1.60 favourites.

I’d love to see the two underdogs get up this week.

Geez there’s banter and then there’s bullshit.
Most of the post game stuff on here is the latter.

Anyway GWS we’re bloody good and are a good chance to beat the Pies this week.

Where did it all go wrong last night, Booney?
Was it player selections? Taking too many injured players into the game? Or just not good enough?
Or a combination of all 3?

The midfield were absolutely smashed. Doesn't matter how weak your backline is when the ball is coming in like it did all night. Gws should have been 10 goal up at half time if not for bad kicking.

I reckon Ports got banged up at the wrong time of year, it interrupted their form and they haven’t been able to get back to near their best. I’ll leave the coaching calls to others, but their list holes are the biggest problem imho. If they could add a May and Lever as the Dee’s did it would make such a difference. GWS have some fantastic onballers, but so do Port and they should never get monstered as they did in the 1st half last night, in the 2nd quarter it felt like the 21’ Prelim all over again.

Yeah agree.
Wines, JHF, Rozee and to a less extent Butters all got well beaten in the middle and at most stoppages.
There was no plan B to execute and they just kept going with the same players in there.

Marshall, Dixon, Lord and Finlayson when he came on were all soundly beaten as well.

It all went wrong about 7 weeks ago. Lycett, Dixon and McKenzie literally limped into the last month of football. Aliir and Marshall both carrying injuries, Finlaysons world understandably taking its toll it seemed and the whole spine is broken.

Apparently I was deflecting last night, been saying for three weeks we're no threat in the form and fitness we were in.

Played our best football 12 weeks ago falling in against average opponents.

Essendon twice under a goal, Dogs by 14 and 22, St Kilda 7, Sydney 2 and Melbourne 4. Our form was flattering at best in that 13 week run.
