Terrible for him, seems like a real like able bloke and doesn’t deserve this.

His third ACL I think.

Whats recovery on a partial tear? still 12 months?

He was back after 10 months this time, was it too early?

Would think they’d give it 12 months this time.

This is potentially massive.

For who? If the AFL authorised it, who is going to punish who?
Can see this being swept under the carpet

Not at all, Pert and Goodwin constantly tell us their culture is top notch.

That would make it worse as there would be a government investigation due to them receiving funds for being a clean sport.

Wilkie has been very vocal against a new stadium in Tasmania.

100% goes away. Not in the AFL or Governments best interests to see such a scandal in our national game.

Tom Morris..

Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin says he’s unaware of any players who have been removed from playing because of a positive drug test but listed as ‘injured’.

Consistently maintained this is an AFL issue, not a Demons issue.

So he is saying its an issue, an AFL issue, even though his club is the only one named? interesting

How bad were Oliver’s ‘injuries’ last year?

“But as Dr Arain explains, this isn’t just a Melbourne problem, it is an AFL problem, with multiple players coming to Melbourne from other teams with pre-existing cocaine dependencies, more than suggesting that drug testing workarounds are commonplace elsewhere in the AFL."

Which team has a "late out" every week???

GEELONG!

I was told by my surgeon Wilson Lee that even small tears are an issue, as the acl once stretched before tearing, loses it's elasticity and therefore can't do it's job anymore.
So he may need another recon.
I came back in 10 months from my ACL rupture. Had the op in July and played first game in March the following year and got through the season with no problems then it went again first game the following year.

So will any late outs now be listed as Cocaine Awareness?
