"He went in optimistically and came out misty optically" is the greatest line ever called in a game of footy and I'll die on that hill.

Rex Hunt would have to own a few of my favourites but Dennis was very entertaining to listen to.
It was great to hear some of his comments on the playstation.
Genuinely sad to hear of his passing, he was the window to world for all things WAFL for me growing up.

"Metropolis, kicking to the city end"
Genuinely one of the very best, him and Bruce. A very witty commentator, vale.
Also, "came up on him like a librarian" will be immortal

"Is that the Grand Final? Sydney are PREMIERS!" – Cometti's definitive call as the final siren sounded
Yelled "shut up dennis" as the game wasn't over... It was, but i was super nervous and pumped. The call leading up to that was awesome too
"What a snap! What a celebration! What a Grand Final!" – Delivered immediately after Nick Malceski kicked the sealing goal for the Swans.
One of the very best to do it. Sad day
