Seems fair, or at worst misses the 1 point game and still has access to 10 down. Missing the full 10 seems too big a penalty.

Also, moving forward, probably should have a rule for how it will apply if you miss more than one game.
Home teams can still work, just need a ruling on how to allocate them.

I'd recommend starting with the 1 point and moving up, in order of the game. EG: Thursday night home team 1 point, friday night 2 points, etc.

Im sure by the end of the season will have more than just one game missed here and there.

Im happy to go with whatever consensus is reached.

From memory when I did this before, if you missed three games (and applying it to this round) you'd have Geelong 3, Collingwood 2, St Kilda 1. But I don't care, I like your method as well. Just as long as we're consistent with it all year.

Actually come to think of it, the 'penalty' rises in your method, which I don't mind. Let's go with yours.

Should start at 10 and work its way backwards
